Should the category archive pages be re-indexed? This is where we return to the main question of this article. Is it a good strategy to re-index category archive pages that have little (or no) value? The answer to this question is that if these pages have no value, it is better to delete them and assign them a 404 status code. If these pages are important for users and are considered among the essential parts of a blog, it is better to be re-indexed.
